Subproject 2

The project team of the Hannover Medical School Hospital is responsible for conducting qualitative interviews as well as a quantitative online survey as part of a mixed-methods approach. The aim of these studies is to outline the perspectives of patient and self-help organizations as well as their members on digitalization projects in healthcare and their active involvement in such initiatives. This will include identifying experiences, attitudes, and opportunities regarding such participation activities. The results of the online survey will be incorporated in the development of ethical evaluation criteria and recommendations for digitalization projects.

In addition, Hannover Medical School is actively involved in the development of participation structures with the cooperating patient and self-help organizations.
